Android Learning Notes 2 GenyMotion & others

I got diabetes, and high blood pressure. Yes, the doctor said to me, “You need a fucking vacation”. That was about 3 weeks ago, I was so excited on having another batch of money from the underground part-time job. Then I felt dizzy, and can’t see things clearly (Don’t worry, just for a while).

I thought that no body is gonna been care about me, Cuz I’ve soloed so many years, and so exhausted, I’ve no doubt that I am earning the highest salary in my collage classmates, but still feel unsafe about my future.

But after completed this drawing, I felt better, I kept draw it for 3 month. This the way I commemorate Beijing.

This is an fucking awesome simulator or emulator for Android (yes, it’s a cross-platform solution!). Download it here , then config it flow steps here


Then download any available version android package on different devices. If you can’t launch emulator, here’s some steps to solve the problems.

1. Make sure you’d installed VirtualBox, down here ,and set it correctly (Normally you don’t have to config it manually).
2. Set the ADB path to your Android SDK path.
3. The emulator will not run if you choose different project target SDK version. 
4. Sometimes you need to kill “adb” manually and click ‘Restart’.
5. Install GenyMotion plugins for Android Studio and Eclipse to launch it more easily.
   When I use Eclipse , sometimes you might meet a problem like this:

   parseSdkContent failed Could not initialize class android.graphics.Typeface
   Solution: do this under /home.

   rm -rf .android/

A nice way to do OTA test, of course I can do it with itms-services(for iOS), but you still need some time to deliver files, set up a page, someone else did it for us.  It supports Android too. Additionally it’s a service locates in China.
